• Ben arranged for a qualified surveyor to conduct a survey on some rotten timber we had exposed during some renovation work. He looked at some photos we'd taken, got back to us immediately and arranged the survey within a couple of days. Correspondence the surveyor, was excellent and he arrived exactly on time. The survey was comprehensive and very professional. It resulted in no remedial work being required so Ben's services were not needed on this occasion but we will have no hesitation in using him in the future if needed and/or recommending him to our friends. • During building work we discovered we needed a damp problem rectifying. AG Damp sent their surveyor round and produced a detailed report of the issues (do not put of by the initial charge for this - it is definitely worth it). Following the report, we instructed Ben and his team to undertake the works. However, the problem was slightly worse than initially thought. Ben discussed his proposed solution, with the cost and this has now sorted everything. I would highly recommend Ben and his team - the work has been carried out to a excellent standard

• I have a basement flat with constant damp problems in different areas of the flat over many years. Avant Garde Damp Solutions Ltd came to assess the problems and have done a great job fixing them, including tanking a wall, fixing cracks letting water in the building and a leak from an upstairs shower. This involved some building works, plastering, removing and refitting a radiator, and as of 7 months later I am yet to have any problems. We also have a 10 year guarantee for the works to keep us satisfied there will be no issues. All the workers were very friendly and had good working practices

• I used this company to provide me with a quotation to fix suspected rising damp. They sent out a surveyor who was very professional and unlike other companies who all suggested that I needed to put in a damp proof course, this chap indicated that my issue was minor and that what I needed was more effective condensation control.
