PIR Thermal Plasterboard

PIR thermal plasterboard is a popular and convenient alternative to traditional insulation.

Commonly, plasterboard and insulation are used as two separate products. However, PIR plasterboard comprises of a layer of gypsum board backed by a layer of insulation and can come in a range of sizes and thickness.

Older buildings with solid walls benefit greatly from a built in vapour barrier which protects against the detrimental effects of condensation.

Thermal efficiency in walls and ceilings can decrease energy bills and lower the carbon footprint of your home. Naturally this results in an improved EPC rating of the property making it attractive to future buyers.
